Mark Senzig, CMT MAT

I have built my practice after an extensive education that includes learning deep tissue techniques at the Meadowood Resort, as well as other massage modalities at the Acupressure Institute and the National Holistic Institute College of Massage Therapy. I have also studied under Erik Dalton, PhD learning a specialized form of bodywork manual therapy known as Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques.

By employing an eclectic style of bodywork that doesn't typically fit the cookie cutter massage received at day spas, my goal is to look for muscle strain patterns and create a strategy to meet each client's needs on an individual basis.

Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques

  • Releases muscle tension and skeletal misalignment
  • Cross visual assessment method for recognition of muscle imbalance patterns
  • Restores pain-free movement

 Myofascial Release

  • Relaxes contracted muscles, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and stimulate the stretch reflex
  • Involves gentle sustained pressure into myofascial connective tissue restrictions
  • Elimates pain and restores motion

Deep Tissue Techniques

  • Releases muscle tension
  • Provides deep pain relief
  • Loosens scar tissue and lengthens muscles
  • Good for chronic and overuse injuries
